Seeking an engaging and interactive way for your brand to shine? Look no further than your four-legged friends with pet/animal events!
Celebrity and influencer appearances draw in a ton of engagement but can cost agencies the bulk of their budget. While in some scenarios, hiring top tier talent makes sense, leveraging alternative options such as pet events can also successfully grab the attention of your target audience, leaving you more wiggle room to allocate resources towards other essential event elements.
Whether you’re hosting a goat yoga event for your athleisure brand, or you’re a pet focused brand looking to promote a new product, there are so many ways to incorporate pets and animals into your event strategy. Pop-up stores, mobile tours, interactive experiences, adoption clinics…the sky is the limit!
Like with most event elements, there are a series of local regulations and permits that must be in place, specifically related to animals, prior to your event. From health and safety, to insurance, to clean up and waste, EventPermits will ensure compliance for a legal and safe event.
Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of working on several animal activations across the USA, witnessing their power first-hand to stop passersby in their tracks and engage with brands on-the-spot. In honor of National Pet Month, let’s dive into a few ways our experienced team has helped brands successfully pull this off:
To celebrate their NASDAQ IPO, we helped Blue Buffalo activate in the heart of Times Square with a pop-up store and most notably, a large pool, which featured the amazing “Dock Dogs.” Performances were held throughout the day with the dogs, who showed off their impressive aquatic tricks for all to see. That was the first pool we’ve permitted in Times Square!
In celebration of Repeal Day, Budweiser partnered with Jim Beam to deliver beer to bars throughout NYC with the iconic Clydesdales. EventPermits was proud to be the permitting partner to make this event possible.
Northshore Animal League partnered with Purina to bring a mobile pet adoption clinic to Times Square for their annual Tour for Life® event. The activation included a media event and passersby were given the opportunity to adopt pets in need of a loving home.
These are just a few examples of some of the pawsome events we’ve helped bring to life by guiding our clients through the pet/animal event permitting process to ensure their success.
